Approaching the whole body

Rest & repair

Having trained in Bristol in 2015 in holistic massage I am constantly building and reconstructing my understanding of the anatomy and mental health, while taking time to approach each body and it’s needs. The majority of people need deep relaxation, which is something I really enjoy working with. This need to work with the nervous system, to allow ‘rest and repair’ for the whole body, then enables me to feel like I can then go deeper with muscle tissue work. Through working with breath work, to help connect with the parasympathetic nervous system, but more importantly working with variety of movements and technique,   we can access muscles and fascia in a different way being able to become a little freer.

Workshops

I have been running massage workshops over the last few years, exploring the idea of touch and giving people confidence in touch.

2hours of exploring some basic techniques, both partners get a chance to give and receive, a great way to learn! Come with a friend, sister or partner, who ever you are comfortable with.

working together

Whether it’s yoga, anatomy or massage I like to meet the person I’m working with in the middle, knowing that what we are working on at any given time is a two way stream, a dialogue, I learn from you, you learn form me, we work together to allow the changes to come into play. I aim to give people movement to take home or work on to continue the work outside the massage room, as the work happens on a daily level, not just in the room to be ‘fixed’. As nice as that pill could be to take, healing is not so linear and not so fast!! Alas no, we need patience and time!

I massage on my own retreats, as well as others, so If you are in need of a massage therapist for your retreats or teaching programe please do get in touch.
